Our vision is to create a platform of resources where parents can have access to information on the children’s mental health services available in our community.

Your child’s mental health is important.  Life is stressful.  In addition to common everyday stresses, low self-esteem, learning deficits, autism, behavioral issues, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, ADD, type one diabetes, hearing loss and disabilities can all impact children’s mental health.

But mental health is much bigger than a diagnosis, it is the foundation for how you perceive the world both inside and outside of you.

The fact is, that mental health issues affect so many of us.  Even if there is no mental health diagnosis, caring for your mental health is an important part of your overall wellness and that of your child. We believe that it is our responsibility to start the conversation when our children are young, to validate their feelings and share with them our imperfections and insecurities, so they realize they’re not alone and grow up understanding how to feel and show empathy. It is our job to put an end to the stigma that surrounds mental health issues so that all of our children and our children’s children can continue to have open and honest conversations.

Our children need to understand that they do not have to be good at everything, struggles are a normal part of development, but most importantly that it’s ok to ask for help. We need to teach our children that overcoming frustrations and set-backs is how they build resiliency.  It does not mean they aren’t strong, in fact the struggle actually demonstrates their strengths.

Our future generations of children and teens need to know the value of their self-worth, self-love, self-care, and the importance of expressing their feelings. As parents, we need to provide guidance, inspire them to pursue their dreams and to believe that anything is possible. Our goal is to provide you with resources that can serve as a guiding light on this journey we all call “PARENTING” and give you and your child the tools you need to feel supported.

Let’s be a helping hand and teach the next generation how to become better humans, because we all need love, validation, and community to reach our full potential. After all, it takes a village to raise a child.
